2024 Graduate Internship Programme (Campus Development)
The BIS's Real Estate and Facility Management (REFM) team is looking for recent graduates to join the 2024 Bank for International Settlements (BIS) cohort of Graduate Interns. This is an 11-month internship that will allow you to use the knowledge you gained during your studies in a professional environment. Joining us is not just about launching your international career, it is about doing meaningful work for the public good and serving the global community.
By joining the REFM graduate internship programme you will:
路 Leverage the skills that you have gained during your architectural studies, and contribute to a prestigious Campus Development project that will influence the landscape of the city of Basel.
路 Join a unique organization and collaborate with an international architectural design firm and join a team of industry experts.
Purpose of the Internship Programme:
The programme is aimed at enriching your work experience in order to help you in your pursuit of your next step, whether to a higher educational degree or a position at another organisation.
Programme duration: 11 months
Programme location: Basel, Switzerland
Programme start date: October 2024
Principal accountabilities:
路 Contribute to the BIS Campus Development Project in collaboration with internal and external architects and general planners.
路 Contribute to the implementation of the BIS鈥檚 modern workplace strategy.
路 Participate in the ongoing digitalization of the BIS Real Estate and Facilities Management processes and design.
路 Collaborate with the relevant experts on improving the document management system and design approval process.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
路 University degree in an architectural field completed in 2023 or 2024
路 Good knowledge of CAD and BIM software
路 Interest in workplace design
What we offer:
The contract is for up to 11 months (non-renewable). This is a paid internship; in addition, we offer health insurance, support with relocation, and return travel, as well as accommodation in Basel.
