The Multifunctional Landscapes team is looking to hire Agronomy/Soil Health intern. The intern will work with the team mainly in the Excellence in Agronomy initiative (EiA).

  • Support extraction of data from published literature materials for soil health studies using infrared spectroscopy methods.
  •  Help organize extracted data by instrument type, soil property, number of samples used, modeling method, geographical location.
  • Support any other activity related to the projects as required.


    Requirements

    • Msc degree in Agricultural Sciences, Applied Statistics, Environmental Science, or related fields
    • Knowledge of agriculture, statistical programming, and related environmental issues
    • Experience with basic data analysis (e.g., with R or Python)
    • Experience with basic soil analytical methods.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
