Under the supervision of the ICT Associate, the intern will:
• Assist with ICT inventory distribution, storage, and records management.• Support the helpdesk team with handling service calls in Service Gateway. This includes assigning and following up on tasks.• Perform daily checks on audiovisual setup and equipment in conference rooms.• Update and maintain mailing lists.• Facilitate the on-boarding procedure for new staff • Assist with stock keeping and distribution of ICT consumable items (e.g. toners, accessories).• Prepare written material and documentation as per business needs• Coordinate and follow-up with maintenance company about laptops in repair

Deliverables and Schedules: • ICT inventory records are up-to-date.• ICT equipment are properly stored and distributed.• Service Calls are monitored, assigned and closed in a timely manner.• Audiovisual equipment in conference and meeting rooms are efficiently functional.• Onboarding tasks are identified and duly assigned.• Mailing lists are up-to-date.• ICT consumables stock is maintained and distributed as per the need.• Written materials are prepared upon request.• Laptops being repaired are logged and followed-up with maintenance company
The supervisor together with the other team members will provide orientation to the intern on how to undertake the assigned jobs.
The intern is expected to work from the UNICEF Lebanon office in Beirut. A designated workspace will be assigned, and an office laptop will be provided.
No travel is anticipated as part of this assignment.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…Enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate school. Excellent English written communication skills. Excellent English verbal communication skills. Good knowledge of MS Office and computer skills (MS applications, especially Word and /excel and Excel). Excellent command of English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is considered an asset. Advanced business writing skills is a plus. A high level of individual responsibility, commitment and initiative. Demonstrates openness in sharing information and keeping people informed.
