Hereโ€™s where you come in:

As the Ukraine Crisis Response Director, you will lead World Visionโ€™s humanitarian response to the crisis in Ukraine ensuring effective scale up and delivery of humanitarian assistance to affected vulnerable people in Ukraine and Moldova, and other countries if required in the future.

You will oversee all aspects of the response from strategy to implementation including team management, partner relations, risk management and relations with a wider range of local and international stakeholders in a complex, fluid and challenging humanitarian context with a high level of global interest and engagement.

Weโ€™re looking for a senior, experienced humanitarian leader with a strong track record in complex crises and fragile contexts, and excellent team leadership, communications, risk and relationship management skills.

Requirements include:

  • University degree in humanitarian, development, international relations or relevant field. Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years in leadership roles in the humanitarian and development sector, including in major INGOs.
  • At least 5 yearsโ€™ senior management experience in humanitarian responses within complex, fragile and conflict related contexts
  • Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams in complex, culturally and politically sensitive contexts
  • Extensive experience in program management and implementation of multi-sectoral emergency response projects
  • Experience working in high pressure, rapid response environments with multiple risks
  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English
