Job Purpose
The livelihood and economic inclusion program analyst will assist the project of UNFPA, UNHCR and KOICA on strengthening resilience to the people affected by displacement with a focus on Youth Population.ย The incumbent will lead the programmatic management of the project with a focus on livelihoods and economic inclusion and will ensure that results are achieved within the available time and budget. They will be responsible and accountable for monitoring, reporting, follow-up on project deadlines and commitments, and management of project documentation. They will lead the coordination of the KOICA funded project, informing on relevant issues, responding to logistic and administrative requirements when needed. They are expected to perform other related duties required to achieve UNFPA and UNHCRโs targets and goals.
You would be responsible for
Program Management:
Ensure consistent implementation of KOICA funded project activities. Implement the programmatic aspects and monitoring tasks with corresponding priorities considering UNFPA and UNHCR priorities, providing technical guidance to the field locations. Draft analysis and monitoring documents, indicators, and periodic reports, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with established timing, policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards. Support the Program Implementation team in attending KOICAโs requirements with regards to implementation, follow up meetings, visibility, and communication actions, and so on. Perform other duties as required.Knowledge Management and Visibility:
Work with the communication team to consolidate and document best practices from the program implementation.ย Work with the program implementation team to compile reports as per the requirements of the donor.ย Work with the M&E and communication team to organizeย learning sessions on the project performance across UNFPA and UNHCR and the collaborative counterparts including government and implementing partners.ย Work with the communication and program implementation team to tell the story on youth resilience building and the triple nexus programmingย Work with the communication team on campaigning and mobilization of young people for youth resilience building interventions including livelihood development, peacebuilding, access to SRH and GBV services and ensuring youth leadership and meaningful engagement throughout the program implementation.ยQualifications and Experienceย
Education:
Masterโs degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, livelihood development, Gender and Youth Development, Monitoring and evaluation or a field relevant to related development assistance.
Experience and Knowledge:
Languages:
Fluency in English, with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, is required; proficiency in Korean is an asset.Required Competenciesย
