Technical Advisor for Peacebuilding

We are currently seeking qualified Technical Advisor for Peacebuilding candidates to be proposed on an anticipated new activity in South Sudan focused on resolving ongoing communal conflicts to reduce violence and build a sustainable peace by addressing the underlying causes of conflict, promoting reconciliation, and supporting the development of inclusive and resilient communities.

Position Summary:

The Technical Advisor for Peacebuilding will support the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) in overseeing project implementation and will be responsible for providing program technical direction and managing a team of technical specialists. This position will play a crucial role in advancing peace, stability, and dialogue in South Sudan by empowering local actors and enhancing community resilience. The Technical Advisor will support the development and implementation of community-based peacebuilding initiatives that address the underlying causes of conflict and promote reconciliation.
