World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Talent Acquisition Intern, Compliance. The intern for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team will support several functions that include general administrative tasks, research initiatives and collaborative talent acquisition projects.
The Talent Acquisition Intern, Compliance (TAI-Com) will help WWF in its work to help local communities conserve the natural resources they depend upon; transform markets and policies toward sustainability; and protect and restore species and their habitats by contributing to the analysis and creation of essential talent acquisition tools and resources to attract and hire talent to create and support some of the planet's greatest conservation victories.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with creating competency-based interview scoring rubrics and interview questions. Project – Audit Talent Acquisition policies and guidance posted on intranet. Compile index of policies, including publication date, location, and summary. Highlight discrepancies and conflicting information. Conduct research and provide recommendations for updating and creating Talent Acquisition policies based on Talent Acquisition best practices. Assist in design and development of updated TA intranet pages. Assist with spot audits of job postings for compliance. Administrative Coordination Monitor Talent Acquisition inbox and route requests to appropriate parties. Assist with data pulling and auditing for annual AAP/EEO Reporting. Perform general data entry tasks.
Through direct experience, the TAI-Com will learn the importance of structured interviews in mitigating potential hiring bias and gain a basic proficiency in developing supporting tools. The TAI-Com will also gain basic understanding of Talent Acquisition policies as they relate to regulatory compliance and sustainably improving the recruiting hiring lifecycle.
Minimum RequirementsCurrent undergraduate student in Human Resources, Organizational/Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred; all majors will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and video-conferencing platforms (i.e., Zoom, Teams, etc.) Behavioral Competencies: Meticulous attention to detail is required to identify subtle discrepancies when developing index of TA policies and support development of interviewing tools. Intellectual Curiosity to research industry best practices and ask “why” behind some of our procedures will help us to identify and re-examine past practices that may longer be applicable. Reliability / Follow-through to see assigned tasks to completion or proactively seek help without the need for multiple reminders is essential in this fast-paced environment. Adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and feedback designed to increase effectiveness and foster professional development.
