Internal and external candidates will be considered for this vacancy. ย Context Under the general supervision of the Supply chain Officer, and the direct supervision of the Logistics Assistant in Lagos, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repairs of IOM premises in Yaoundรฉ Particularly, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
1. Assist in coordinating the maintenance and repair works related of IOM premises in Yaoundรฉ related to office electrical, plumbing, basic generator and inverter system works, Air Conditions (ACs), basic carpentry works, and general office furniture and fixture repair works.
2.Assist in facilitating standard maintenance and repair using professional service providers.
3.Routine Follow up of all maintenance and repair requests and maintain status completion record.
4.Raise Purchase Request for any materials and supplies needed to support the maintenance and repair work, especially when the stock level reaches the minimum level.
5.Conduct daily monitoring the electricity meter reading, generatorsโ diesel and water tanks supply level.
6.Support the organization and administration of meetings, workshops and
events (e.g. arranging for meeting rooms and other facilities.
7.Ensure availability of office supplies and appropriate maintenance of
office equipment; and,
8.Assist with arranging for travel: organize transport, logistics, accommodation, documents;
9.Perform other related duties as may be required.
Education
High school diploma with three years of relevant experience; or,
Diploma or related fields from an accredited institution with one year of relevant professional experience.

โข Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.
โข Attention to detail, ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way;
โข Discreet, details and clients-oriented, patient and willingness to learn new things; and,
โข Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Languages
- Fluency in French (oral and written) IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
