BACKGROUND
Population Services International (PSI) is a global health and development organization working in more than 50 countries to make quality, affordable health care accessible to people where and when they need it. The Strategy & Insights (S&I) Department promotes best practice in program design, marketing discipline, research, learning, and strategy development. S&I works with other departments to systematically capture, synthesize, and share internal and external evidence, consumer and market insights, competitive market intelligence, and program experience. As part of S&I, the Strategic Research and Learning Team is accountable for establishing and advancing an organizational learning agenda, ensuring the identification and exchange of learning and insights internally, and for the implementation, use and elevation of quality, ethical research. The SR&L team is seeking a pool of Scientific Writing and Research consultants to support the organization through Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC) โ a flexible arrangement for the provision of an indefinite amount of services within a fixed period. Individual Task Orders will be issued under the IQC which state the specific assignment, dates, and timeline.

SCOPE OF WORK
We will be seeking consultants to provide support to some or all of these tasks as a Scientific Writing/Communication Consultant:
Conduct tasks associated with scientific writing, such as leading rapid reviews, systematic reviews, and supporting or editing peer review manuscript submissionsLead (or support) the production of professional quality research outputsDevelop professional quality graphics, infographics, data dashboards, or visual representations of dataWe will be seeking consultants to provide support to some or all of these tasks as a Research Consultant:
Advanced statistical modeling and demand forecastingHealth systems research designEconometric analysis

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Masterโs Degree or PhD in relevant field (e.g., implementation science, public health, anthropology, sociology, statistics, demography, epidemiology, behavioral science, economics)Extensive familiarity in one or more of the following areas:sexual and reproductive health (experience in self-injection, safe abortion, and medical abortion preferred); gender-based violence; water and sanitation (experience in urban sanitation preferred); malaria;self-diagnostics (experience in HIV self-testing and HPV self-sampling preferred); digital health; health systems strengthening and health financing; and/orprimary health care/health services utilization.Demonstrated qualifications and expertise to conduct the tasks listed under the Score of Work for each consultant type.Exceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently produce deliverablesAbility to work across teams, time zones, and groups over whom there is no direct authority to accomplish project goalsExperience and excellence in working with large, multinational and intercultural teams.French language skills a plus #LI-LM1 #LI-Remote
