Work LocationBrasilia [Distrito Federal] Expected duration4 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the overall guidance of the UNEP Brazil Representative and in close coordination with Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Team and the Ministry of Finance, the Strategic Engagement Lead is responsible for engaging a wide range of stakeholders to advance energy transition goals, provide technical advice on the best approach to raise awareness on the benefits of the transition, identify key actors and levers to enable transition pathways for cities that receive on oil and gas for revenues. Qualifications/special skillsBachelorโs degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Environmental Sciences, Management, Political Sciences, Economical Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related area of study is required. Post graduation degree and/or Masterโs Degree in relevant fields is an asset Candidates should have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in the field of of stakeholder engagement and outreach, just transition, climate change policy or sustainable development; Candidates with Post-graduation, Masterโs degree and/or Doctorate Degree, should have at least three (3) years of relevant experience in the fields of stakeholder engagement and outreach, just transition, climate change policy or sustainable development.
