About this position

We are looking for dedicated and hard-working Impact Framework and Business Process consultants to join our team. This role will encompass to support two key work streams related to the implementation of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Groupโ€™s new institutional strategy. The first workstream is focused on operational instruments, organizational structure, and business processes. The second workstream is focused on designing and implementing the IDB Groupโ€™s new Impact Framework to monitor and report on its key performance indicators and progress on its strategic priorities. You will work with the Strategy Monitoring Division (SMO) of the Office of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness (SPD). SPDโ€™s team is responsible, among others, for:

  1. Leading, coordinating, and monitoring the IDB Groupโ€™s Institutional Strategy.
  2. Leading the implementation of the IDBโ€™s Development Effectiveness Framework.
  3. Assessing the evaluability and development effectiveness of IDB operations.
  4. Monitoring the performance of the IDBโ€™s portfolio.
  5. Designing and reviewing the IDBโ€™s lending instruments.
  6. Leading project capacity-building related to development effectiveness.
  7. Conducting strategic, corporate, and operational research.
  8. Gathering, analyzing, and reporting data to recommend best practices or new courses of action to improve the IDBโ€™s overall performance and transparency.
