Under the direct supervision of Senior Project Associate, and overall supervision of National Project Officer, the incumbent will support the implementation and further development of the harmonization portfolio under the Migration Management Department of IOM Turkiye, and will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the achievement of the objectives and results of the projects as well as successful day to day implementation of the activities under EU funded project โPromoting Sustainable and Socially Inclusive Labour Market Integrationโ.
Turkiye hosts the largest refugee population in the world, with over 4.6 million foreign nationals living in the country, including approximately 3.2 million Syrians under Temporary Protection (SuTPs) and around 300,000 Persons under International Protection (PuIPs). Given the considerable size and diversity of the migrant and refugee population, providing means for their social and economic integration is a very challenging process for both national and local authorities. In response to the challenges, the โPromoting Sustainable and Socially Inclusive Labour Market Integrationโ project aims to increase formal employment of SuTPs, PuIPs and host community members and strengthen the harmonization process in Tรผrkiye.
1. Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities.
2. Compile, summarize, analyze, and present information/data on specific project topics, highlighting noteworthy issues for the consideration of appropriate parties.
3. Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary.

4. Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, involving extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
5. Draft status reports; identify shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest corrective measures.
6. Draft correspondence on project issues; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, and other forms of documentation.
7. Provide technical support and contribute to the implementation of the projectโs comprehensive and adaptive capacity development strategy to strengthen the organizational and technical capacity of partners.
8. Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions; prepare training materials and participate in the delivering of the trainings and workshops within social cohesion context.
9. Prepare/Contribute the content and the template development of the training modules as well as identifying and developing the methods, supplementary documents (such as exercise, handouts etc.), presentations and monitoring and development for capacity building activities.
10. Develop tools for pre-post training evaluation to evaluate the impact of the training program
11. Prepare training plan and budgets
12. Draft outlines of modules and training program and training methods and revise them in accordance with the feedback and comments
13. Prepare training reports
14. Participate/facilitate the capacity building trainings and workshops
15. Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.
16. Participate in meetings and conferences; maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
17. Monitor work of implementing partners and report any non-compliance to the supervisor.
18. Provide inputs for the development of Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and concept papers and provide general support for the development of new projects.
19. Provides guidance/training and assist in coordinating and monitoring work of other staff in the unit; may supervise other staff as assigned.
20. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education:
โข High school diploma with at least six years of relevant professional experience; or,
โข Bachelorโs degree in Education / Teaching / Learning and Training, Sociology, Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution, with at least four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience:
โข Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
โข Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
โข Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting.
โข In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject especially social cohesion areas.
โข Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in training practicing, developing, designing and conducting training programmes and/or capacity development interventions.
โข Experience in organizing and implementing of the training programmes with training needs analysis and within this scope, measuring, evaluating and reporting of the trainings, workshops and other CD interventions is an advantage.
โข Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming.
โข Knowledge of financial rules and regulations.
