ย Context
Within the IOM Jordan Mission (Gaza OPT), the Programme Support Unit (PSU) is a cross-sectoral unit working closely with all thematic units to support the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects and other initiatives. The unit coordinates closely with HQ ย and regional colleagues, as well as external counterparts and donors to support quality and well-coordinated programming and oversight. This includes supporting the implementation and monitoring of the mission-wide IOM Jordan (Gaza OPT) strategy.
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Support Unit Officer and the direct supervision of the National Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Officer, and in close coordination with the different unit heads, the Senior M&E Associate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities across projects and programmes in OPT.

1- Support the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities in line with project/programme result matrices and M&E plans, under the guidance of the National MEAL Officer and PSU Officer.
2- Assist in the design, application, translation, and maintenance of M&E tools to track qualitative and quantitative indicators.
3- Contribute to data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis for project-level and mission-wide M&E activities, including preparing visual reports, charts, and summaries to support accountability and transparency in programme delivery.
4- Support the development of IOM OPT Community Feedback Mechanisms by assisting in the collection, documentation, and referral of feedback, and ensuring timely follow-up in coordination with implementing partners.
5- Provide logistical and administrative support during monitoring visits, surveys, assessments, and capacity-6- Assist in monitoring deliveries, distributions and post-distribution processes in collaboration with donor-contracted third-party monitors, ensuring proper documentation and folder management.
7- Maintain organized filing systems for monitoring data, reports, and feedback records in line with IOM data protection principles.
8- Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.

โข ย ย ย ย Experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, accountability, or programme support within government, non-government, or international organization.
โข ย ย ย ย Familiarity with community feedback mechanisms and accountability processes.
โข ย ย ย ย Experience supporting third-party monitoring (TPM) activities is desirable.
โข ย ย ย ย Prior working experience with UN agencies, INGOs, and NGOs is an asset
