ICRISAT seeks applications from highly motivated and qualified professionals for the position of Associateย Manager - Coordination and Operationsย to provide support and to manage functional operations in Corporate Services.ย The incumbent will work very closely with the Deputy Director General -ย Corporate Services and will be a direct reportee to the Deputy Director General - Corporate Services. The position is based in Patancheru, Telangana.

Responsibilities:
- To take charge of the shift for which the staff is scheduled along with the keys/vehicles/property held at the main Gate.
- Coordination and supervision of the security arrangement in the campus
- Inspection of all the security equipment for serviceability
- Assign of work areas and shift timings to security assistants
- Carry out regular patrolling of the property during the shift
- Vigorously lead any emergency situations
- Carry out regular checks and ensure that all security assistants are alert at their posts and fully conversant of their area of responsibility
- Ensure that the relevant rules and regulations of the Institute are adhered at all times
- Supervision of sub-ordinates during shift and provision of logistic support to security assistants
- Ensure that the firefighting equipment deployed is in a ready to use condition at all times
- Carry out investigation as directed by the CSO and Any other job that the Chief Security Officer assigns
- Supervise and ensure readiness of the Fire Engine, CCTVs and security patrol vehicles
Qualifications and requirements:
- Retired Ex. Service Men from the Armed Forces/ Paramilitary Force with at least 10 years experience in security services
- Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Should be a good team player and have experience working in a multicultural team
- Hands-on problem-solving with strong analytical abilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken and written English is mandatory.ย Knowledge of other local language will be an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills
- 2-wheeler/4-wheeler valid driving license
- Working knowledge of MS office suite
General:
This is Contractual position initially for a period of three years (36 months) renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute's continuing need for the position.ย
