Job Purpose

The Resource Mobilization Division (REM) is in charge of coordinating mobilization efforts across the institution to engage with multiple stakeholders ranging from donor governments, multilateral institutions, National Societies, the private sector including corporates, foundations, HNWI, UHNWI and the general public to maintain a sustainable stream of quality income for ICRCโ€™s humanitarian operations worldwide. REM is one of the three divisions reporting to the department of Financial Resources and Logistics (RES).

The REM/IDC unit ensures as well the production of financial reports and analysis, for internal and external use, and is in charge of data management, data quality, marketing segmentation and analysis. Software and applications used by REM division, like Raiserโ€™s Edge, D2D-Donor to Distribution, Peoplesoft EPM (datawarehouse), Tableau BI datasources (Business Intelligence), are managed by REM/IDC.

The Income Specialist is responsible to manage and monitor the timely recording of all cash, cash-for-kind and in-kind contributions from institutional donors and specific private donors on ICRC accounting and CRM systems. Making sure that all contributions are timely paid, acknowledged and finally thanked based on the procedures set in REM division.
