Terms of ReferenceThis agreement relates to your employment with RefugePoint, Inc., and subsequent
deployment to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), as part
of the RefugePoint-UNHCR Collaboration Project (the โProjectโ).
As part of the Project, you are being deployed to Colombia (remote) for the period of
25 March 2024 to 31 July 2024. While on deployment to UNHCR, your title is
Resettlement Expert.
Effectiveness of Employment Agreement
The effectiveness of this Agreement is conditioned upon RefugePointโs receipt of
anticipated project funding from UNHCR and RefugePointโs private fundraising
efforts this year.
Salary
Your monthly salary will start at $3,451 (subject to proration for any partial monthly
period), payable at the end of each month worked, on the basis of a timely submitted
attendance record.
Regulations and Work Policies
Your position is subject to the provisions of the RefugePoint-UNHCR Collaboration
Project Handbook.
While on deployment to a UNHCR Operation, you are expected to adhere to the work
schedule, policies and other expectations for that office, while still reporting to your
RefugePoint supervisor. You are required to sign and abide by the UNHCR
Undertaking and the UNHCR Code of Conduct.
Other Terms of Employment
Employment pursuant to this Agreement is โat will.โ This means that both you, the
employee, and the Organization, the employer, have the right to terminate the
employment relationship at any time, with or without cause. As a courtesy, as much
advance notice as possible should be given to the other party. Thirty days is
recommended.
The terms and provisions of this Agreement can only be amended or modified by a
written agreement executed by the parties hereto.
By signing this Agreement, you hereby acknowledge that you have had adequate
opportunity to review and carefully consider these terms and conditions and to
confer with counsel of your choosing regarding such terms. You further acknowledge
that you have voluntarily executed this Agreement.
