Job Summary:
FHI360 is seeking a temporary Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Ghana through the end of January 2026 with a possibility of an extension. The Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the recruitment process from initiation to completion with posting of jobs, screening of applications, scheduling interviews, conducting background/reference checks, negotiating offers and start dates, preparing and sending out employment contracts for multiple countries. Special consideration will be given to former FHI360 employees.
Responsibilities
Establishes recruiting requirements by discussing recruitment plans and needs with managers.
Working closely with Compensation team, reviews position descriptions and job leveling to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Works with HRIS team to ensure build out of project structure in HR Information System and posts jobs based on project needs.
Reviews and handles resumes and applications for job openings and arranges interviews by calling or emailing candidates.
Develops and maintains candidate records for interviews and performs background and reference checks.
Processes employment offers and employment contracts for recommended candidates following selection process.
Provides status reports and updates hiring managers regarding posted job and job offers prepared.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent.
Experience:
Typically requires 5-8 years of experience with staffing/recruitment activities and human resources related practices.
Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients, and staff.
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language as appropriate.
Working experience with Workday HRIS system strongly preferred.
Prior work experience in a non- governmental organization (NGO).
Typical Physical Demands:
Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
