Your team
Within the The European Green Sky Directorate, the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub (EIH) carries out research, innovation and simulation activities to help improve European aviation performance, safety and sustainability, bridging the gap between R&D and operations. The EIH also addresses emerging new technologies as well as deployment of drones and urban air mobility systems.
You will be assigned to the Engineering Centre of Expertise (CoE) and play a vital role in coordinating and supporting projects and programmes from start to finish, ensuring efficient execution, accurate reporting, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Your role
Your role will be to:
- Support managers in coordinating and managing projects / programmes from inception to completion (including staff & budget planning & execution) and gather project / programme information to maintain a consolidated view of activities.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
Post-secondary education in a relevant domain and appropriate professional experience of 3 years or completed university studies of at least 3 years in a relevant domain and appropriate professional experience of 1 year. In addition to the above, a minimum of 2 yearsโ relevant experience to carry out the advertised responsibilities. Experience in project or programme management support (e.g. planning, tracking and monitoring activities). Experience in using project management tools such as AMS, PMS, MS Project. Experience or knowledge in financial aspects related to project management activities. Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams. Understanding of the European Union's tender bidding and project management processes would be an advantage, particularly within the frameworks of Horizon Europe and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) or similar frameworks.
