The Opportunity

As a Program Specialist for Humanitarian and Resilience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and quality of our resilience programs. You will work closely with teams to integrate disaster preparedness and emergency response initiatives, providing technical expertise and coordination to support project assessment, design, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight: Provide technical guidance for the implementation of resilience project interventions, particularly during humanitarian responses.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training materials and guidance documents to enhance project integration of resilience principles.
  • Project Integration: Ensure that resilience interventions are effectively integrated into newly approved projects, in collaboration with relevant units.
  • Results Framework: Implement and monitor the Resilience Program and Emergency Preparedness and Response Results Framework, staying updated on best practices and innovations.
  • Partnerships: Actively engage with professional and civil society partners for knowledge sharing, resource mobilization, and advocacy.
