The TAP Program Officer, COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) and Pandemic Preparedness and Response (PPR) [heretofore referred to as the โ€œProgram Officerโ€] provides strategic and operational support and advice to the Senior Advisor, COVID-19 Response, in fulfilling their duties. [heretofore referred to as the โ€œSenior Advisorโ€]
As part of the TAP C19RM coordination team, the Program Officer works closely with the Senior Advisor, Head of TAP, other TAP C19RM technical staff, including from Disease teams (TB, HIV/AIDS, Malaria), Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH), MECA, the TAP coordination office, and relevant teams across the Secretariat. S/he also serves as a Partner focal point to advance coordination and follow up on TAP C19RM and PPR initiatives as well as generating inputs and synergies with Global Fund and partner initiatives and workstreams relevant to TAPโ€™s C19RM and PPR mandate, as needed.
