About the Opportunity
Relief International is hiring a Program Director to oversee high-quality programming in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (oPt) as part of the Senior Management Team. The role involves leading program implementation, managing budgets, ensuring donor compliance, and fostering partnerships. Working closely with the Country Director, the Program Director will play a key role in developing impactful, evidence-based programs that address humanitarian and development needs in a dynamic and complex context.
Your Responsibilities
This role includes the following responsibilities.
- Oversee high-quality programming in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (oPt) as part of the Senior Management Team.
- Lead program implementation, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with donor regulations.
- Develop high-impact, evidence-based programs and support fundraising efforts.
- Establish robust monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure accountability and learning.
- Represent Relief International in external forums and foster strategic partnerships.
About You
You will bring the following experience and skills.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as program management, humanitarian studies, or international development (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in program development, implementation, and management in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong knowledge of institutional donors, including BHA, ECHO, EU, FCDO, and UN agencies, with a successful track record in proposal development and compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two of Relief Internationalโs thematic sectors: Health, Nutrition, WASH, Livelihoods, or Education.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with experience in managing and developing diverse teams.ยท Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage
