The Partnerships Specialist will lead strategic donor engagement and drive innovative fundraising for NRC Ukraine. Youโll coordinate and write high-quality proposals for key funding opportunities, collaborating across programmes, MEAL, finance, and technical teams. With strong technical writing and donor communication skills, youโll help shape and grow our grant portfolio. As a key programme support lead, youโll also ensure effective project cycle management (PCM) and a strong monitoring and evaluation framework.ย

Responsible of supporting the development of country and partnership strategies, implementation plans and partnerships technical guidance that are aligned with regional and global strategies and priorities.ย
Responsible for providing strategic advice, technical support and capacity building support to the Country Offices on partnership issues.ย Compliance with and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures.ย Contribute to fundraising, develop and revise funding proposal, budgets and donor reports.ย Identify trends technical standards and donor priorities.ย Ensure that key learnings are extracted from partnerships and incorporate them in partnership and staff development processes.ยPlease download theย detailed job descriptionย ย to learn more about the position.ย ย ย ย ย
What you will bringย ย ย ย
Strategy Leadership and IntegrationยOperationalise and periodically revise Ukraine partnership strategy with Programme Unit, Country Management Group and Area Offices.ย
Embed localisation commitments in Ukraine country strategy documents, area plans and programme design. ย
2.Partner Project Cycle SupportยProvide partnership helpdesk function for partner identification, organisational assessment, proposal drafting and review, contract negotiation, implementation, monitoring and closure.ย
Guide teams on integrating quality-assurance and compliance mechanisms into partner-led activities and on running structured partner-project reviews and learning processes.ย
Partnership Systems and Tools HarmonisationยDesign, refine and rollout of user-friendly partnership SOPs, tools, templates, and workflows that align with NRC policy, Project Cycle Management, grants, support systems and donor rules that allow flexibility. ย
Ensure coherent partnership management by facilitating coordination between Area Officesโespecially for multi-area partnersโand clarifying roles and responsibilities across teams and support functions.ย

Duty station: Kyiv, Ukraine .ย ย
Contract: International, 1 year with the possibility of extension, subject to funding ย
Travel: 50%.ย ย ย ย
Salary/benefits: Grade 9ย on NRCโsย international/ national salary scaleย for Ukraineย ย ย
