OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST
Under the overall authority of the director of UNESCO Office in Kabul and direct supervision of the Senior Finance and Administrative Officer the Office Helper will provide support to the Administration Unit for the maintenance of the office. H/She must be able to ensure a clean and safe environment in the office
according to scheduled requirements and to maintain a high degree of quality throughout each assigned area of responsibility.
- Perform cleaning operations on a regular basis such as :
- Disinfection and cleaning of the office rooms
-Vacuum of carpets and mopping of floors
-Dusting of furniture
-Cleaning of entrances
-Cleaning of windows and doors as required
- Inform supervisor of supplied needed
- Act as office clerk when required

- Primary school graduate or high school graduate preferred
- A minimum one year of previous relevant experience
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Working level of English
