THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE (EXD)
The Executive Directorate (EXD) is the steward of OECD resources, on behalf of the Secretary-General. Our focus is on people and their wellbeing; the effective and efficient management of the budget; the safety and security of staff, Delegations, visitors, and of the OECDโs data; maintaining and sustaining physical and digital infrastructure; and enabling the convening power of the OECD through conferences, meetings and events, whether virtual, physical or hybrid. As well as providing corporate services, functions and management support to our staff and Members, we provide integrated, strategic and expert advice on corporate policies and management issues to the Secretary-General, to Council and to Standing Committees, to which we regularly report on corporate matters. We also provide risk management functions (for management areas under our purview). Ours is a fast-paced environment focused on delivering management excellence across all of our functions.
THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SERVICE (EXD/HRM)
Within the OECD Executive Directorate (EXD), the Human Resource Management (HRM) Service is responsible for delivering policies and processes to support the staffing needs of the Organisation and its employees. The HR Operations Group (HRO), one of the three HRM business units, provides centralised operational services: the Payroll (salaries and benefits), Medical and Social Services, management of the Organisationโs Health care system (OMESYS) and a Welcome Service to newcomers. The Medical and Social Services unit consists of two Doctors, a Head Nurse and four Nurses, a Social Advisor/Worker, a Psychologist/Counsellor and a Medical Assistant.
Under the general supervision of the Doctor in charge of managing the Organisationโs Medical and Social Services hub, the main responsibilities of the selected candidates will be to provide nursing care, to help promote good health throughout the Organisation and to perform workplace health and safety services. S/he will perform his/her duties on both sites (La Muette and/or Boulogne) in line with the weekly schedule.

Main responsibilities
Nursing care
Administer medical treatment prescribed for staff as directed by the Organisationโs Doctor, within the limits imposed by the law governing professional treatment and the nursing profession, including injections, vaccinations, dressings, drawing blood samples, PCR-tests, vision tests, hearing tests, urine tests, electrocardiograms and miscellaneous treatments. It may also involve giving advice and orientating the staff to medical specialists or to hospital.Emergencies
Assess the seriousness of the situation and act accordingly, including immediate treatment, informing the Doctor or requesting assistance from the emergency medical services in Paris (BSPP/SAMU). Treat the impacted person(s) or evacuate in accordance with the protocol established for the service by the Doctor.Promoting good health
Help to inform the Organisation's staff about good health practices by responding to individual requests, preparing pedagogical tools (such as open discussions, memoranda and e-mails) on selected medical topics. Support and participate in the organisationโs prevention programmes (i.e. cancer screening, dental hygiene, etc.) in co-operation with other units actively promoting good health both within and outside the Organisation.Health and Safety in the workplace
Participate in related activities in this area. Liaise with the health and technical services on problems involving the layout and fittings of premises and workstations, in accordance with the directives of the Doctor and/or the person in charge of workplace health and safety. Direct staff members to specialised facilities if necessary.Resource Management
Monitor and help in the management of the pharmacy, equipment contents of the emergency bag and computerised records. Contribute to the administrative work of the Medical and Social Services unit.Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
A nursing diploma recognised in France (French, or recognised in the European Economic Area (EU and EFTA), or British.Professional Background
At least three years' nursing experience. Experience in a private sector company or International Organisation would be an asset.Proven experience in the areas of medical action to be taken in an emergency and of medical procedures and practical arrangements in the French medical field.Tools
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems rapidly.Knowledge of Preventielยฎ medical software would be an asset.Core Competencies

Selection Process
For retained candidates, the selection process may include a video-recorded interview, job-based assessment and panel interviews.

Contract Duration

Salary and conditions will depend on her/his status (temporary staff or official). For temporary staff, salary ranges from 2770.00 to 3500.00 EUR.
