Oxfam International is unable to guarantee the obtaining of a work permit for the role. The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Nordics Partnership Manager to increase impact, influence, and income for Oxfam and partnersโ€™ humanitarian, development and influencing programs through partnerships with the Nordic donors. This role will contribute to that goal in several key ways: strategy development; relationship management, new business development; account management; capacity building; and external representation on behalf of Oxfam. The Nordics Partnership Manager will focus mainly on the Swedish and Swiss Governments and will also be responsible for further expansion of the relationship with the Governments of Norway and Finland in coordination with Affiliates.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is self-aware, with good strategic thinking and judgement. You will have experience of raising significant funds from institutional donors including Sweden and Switzerland, and of creating relationships and networks with institutional donors. We are seeking someone who
is skilled at developing relationships of trust, gaining buy-in from others, and leading internal stakeholders in an inclusive and clear way, holding each other to account. You will be leading Oxfamโ€™s global relationship with a number of key strategic donors, and will be able to represent Oxfam effectively, as well as facilitate access to others, including our country colleagues and local organisations. You will be able to deal with complexity and ambiguity with professionalism and grace, and often with humor, and be a supportive peer to staff and partners working with Nordic donors across Oxfamโ€™s network. Respect for your colleagues across the world, and appreciation of their different contexts, will be key. Ideally you will be based in Stockholm, Geneva or Nairobi, and will speak the relevant languages for the Nordic donors in those locations.
