UK-Med Ukraine is a humanitarian NGO with country office in Dnipro and bases in Lviv and Kharkiv. UK Med contributes to reducing morbidity and mortality among local/IDP population due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, by providing the needed health services/healthcare to the vulnerable population, as well as Emergency Preparedness Trainings for civilians and first responders (police, emergency brigades, paramedics etc)
Due to the development of the program activities to the South part of Ukraine we are currently looking for an experienced Medical Team Lead candidate in Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv.
The purpose of this position is :
- Manage and technically supervise clinical team members: medical doctors, nurses, psychologists, and community health workers in the mobile units.
- Be the overall accountable person for the mobile units /health activities of the deployment including assessment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
The candidate has to be willing and available to go on short term deployments of 1-2 weeks to other locations in Mykolaiv/ Kherson/ Zaporizhzhia oblasts to conduct assessments or provide basic support during rapid response or base expansion activities.
