Community Partners International (CPI) is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Asia to meet their essential health, humanitarian and development needs. Founded by U.S. doctors in 1998, the organization has grown to serve more than one million people each year. Community Partners International focuses on helping communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement, in remote and hard-to-reach contexts, and marginalized by poverty and exclusion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Director of MEL and HSS at the organizational level in term of MEL and Health System Strengthening support to implement coordinated MEL and HSS activities.
  • Lead in the data compilation, verification and analysis of CPIโ€™s service delivery results and submit to SMT
  • Provide technical assistance in implementation of the MEL and HSS activities
  • Coordinate with MEL and HSS team to ensure achievement of the CPIโ€™s MEL and Health System Strengthening activities in line with CPI standard and CPIโ€™s strategic plan
  • Provide Health System Strengthening technical assistance to CPIโ€™s partners at meetings, conferences, trainings and workshops
  • Support in the development of MEL policy tools to be used at the CPI and partners
  • Perform RDQA visits to the projects and submit findings report to Director of MEL and HSS
  • Participate in the health system strengthening related assessments, data collection, analysis and report preparation
  • Contribute in the development and write-up of reports, policy briefs, strategy documents, presentations and other communication materials
  • Support health systems performance assessments of partner organizations and produce report/ activity plan based on the findings
  • Facilitate and monitor the regular review of identified objectives and activities of partner organizationsโ€™ health system strengthening framework according to health system performance assessment findings
  • Facilitate to monitor the progress of country officeโ€™ HSS activities and contextual changes over time
  • Develop operational guidelines, training curriculum and SOPs for partner organizations, in coordination with the different team of CPI
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Masterโ€™s level degree in public health, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum six yearsโ€™ experience in public health program management in an international organization
  • Proven experience in executing a robust M&E mechanisms at the organizational level
  • Sound knowledge in at least one of the HSS domain such is HMIS, HRH, LMIS or Health financing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Burmese
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS office Applications (Word, Power Point, Excel), proficiency in statistical methods and software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience of working in a multicultural, low-resource setting and mentoring/coaching
  • Ability to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality
  • Comfortable working with a variety of partners and navigating complex relationships
