NRC Ukraine is looking for a national Logistics Officer (Procurement) to support the effective operation of the NRC Ukraine Logistics Team and related programme activities by implementing sound procurement practices in accordance with NRCโs policies and procedures and relevant donor guidelines.ย
How you will support:ย
Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, SOPโs and donor requirementsย Implement delegated procurement function portfolio according to Plan of Actionย Conduct and follow up daily operational procurement activitiesย Support the administration of resources so that deliverables are achieved within set budgets, timelines and standardsย Prepare and develop procurement reports as required by Country/Area officeย Support in development of SOPs as requestedย Ensure proper filing of all support documentsย Promote and share ideas for improvement of the procurement functionยQualifications needed to support the programme:
Bachelorโs degreeย Minimum 3 yearsโ previous work experience in Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing, or Administrationย Previous experience from working with a local NGO or international NGO (an advantage)ย Previous experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context (preferred) Good working knowledge of English both written and spokenย Good working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)ย Valid driverโs licenseย Familiarity with the principles of humanitarian procurement and donor funding guidelinesย Strong communication and interpersonal skillsย Good diplomacy and negotiating skillsย Service minded, with strong problem solving, organisational, and planning skillsย Good cultural awareness and sensitivityย Experience working in multi-cultural office environmentsย Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidentialย Excellent attention to detailยWe highly encourage you to learn more about the role: please review theย detailed Job Description here.
