WWFโ€™s internship program vision is to provide opportunities to early career individuals so that they can bring fresh thinking and innovation to the environmental and conservation sector and be well-positioned to develop into the next generation of leaders.

Position Summary

WWFโ€™s Markets Institute identifies global issues and trends in food, agriculture, and soft commodities with the goal of increasing the speed and scale of solutions to ensure the sustainability of our food future. We seek an intern interested in the opportunity to learn about global sustainability issues and the philanthropy operation of a large global organization, and to assist the team in conducting research on philanthropic and other resources to support the Markets Instituteโ€™s programs.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities may include:

Working with the Markets Institute Deputy, team members and other colleagues to identify and research prospects and opportunities for resource partnerships with the Markets InstituteAnalyzing philanthropic giving of foundations, companies and other sectors and compiling relevant information on findingsParticipating in internal meetings as requested, preparing and distributing meeting notes Other tasks as assigned to support team goals

Able to work either part time or full time, depending on class schedule and availability. Please note: This internship is for Spring 2024.

Location:

Washington, DC or Remote

US Remote โ€“ WWF employs interns in all states with the exception of: Alabama, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Wyoming.

Compensation:

Unpaid. For all unpaid internships, applicants must be enrolled in school and be able to obtain academic course credit from their university.
