Terms of ReferencePurpose of project (summary):

The Individual Consultant is expected to develop tailored Sport for Protection training materials based on the existing toolkit and curriculum and ensure the contextualization with Refugee-Led Organizations (RLO) in Indonesia, focusing on enhancing the psychosocial well-being of refugee children and youth. Following the development of material, the Individual Consultant will train and mentor RLOs on effectively implementing the existing Sport for Protection (S4P) curriculum in their programs and activities. The Individual Consultant will also conduct training workshops for RLO coaches and key program staff in order to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the curriculum in a way that enhances participantsโ€™ psychosocial well-being, protection awareness, while also providing guidance on protection principles and safeguarding.

Following the training, the Individual Consultant will provide ongoing mentorship to guide RLOs in applying the curriculum within their activities. This includes helping them create safe spaces, ensuring access to positive experiences, and fostering social cohesion through structured sports programming. The mentorship will also focus on strengthening coachesโ€™ pedagogical skills, role modeling, and ability to promote inclusion, resilience, and teamwork among refugee children and youth.
Additionally, the Individual Consultant will support RLOs in integrating protection principles, safeguarding measures, and gender-sensitive approaches into their sports initiatives. By the end of the support, RLOs will be better prepared to deliver impactful, structured, and sustainable sports-based activities that promote protection, inclusion, and long-term positive outcomes for refugee communities.
