About\nthe Pathways to Protection (P2P) ProgrammeThe Pathways to Protection (P2P) Consortium, led by the Danish Refugee\nCouncil (DRC) in laboration with the Danish Red Cross (Danish RC) and the\nInternational Detention Coalition (IDC), seeks to strengthen protection\nservices and policy frameworks for migrants along the Mediterranean migration\nroutes. This five-year initiative, funded by the DANIDA, focuses on delivering\nrights-based services, building local capacity, and promoting sustainable\nmigration pathways.\n\n

Role Purpose\n\n\n\n

TheP2P\nProject Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating IDC's\ncontributions to the P2P programme across the MENA region, Africa, Europe and\nour global engagement. This role focuses on programme management, monitoring\nand evaluation (MEL), relationship building and advocacy, and will serve as a\nkey IDC representative to the P2P Consortium Management Unit based in Tunis.\nThe Project Coordinator will ensure IDC's expertise in migrant protection and\nsafe migration pathways effectively contribute to the programme.\n\n\n\n

Role Summary\n\n\n\n

The P2P Project Coordinator will lead\nand coordinate IDC's contributions to thePathways to Protection (P2P)\nConsortium, ensuring effective implementation of IDC's work across its\nMENA, Africa and Europe programmes and in alignment with IDC's global advocacy\nefforts and consortium objectives. As IDC's key operational representative in\nthe consortium, the Project Coordinator will focus on programme management,\nensuring timely delivery of activities, effective laboration across regional\nand global teams, laboration with the Consortium Management Unit and other\nconsortium partners and adherence to donor requirements. A core aspect of the\nrole will be overseeing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes,\ntracking progress against key indicators, and supporting reporting and\nknowledge-sharing efforts. In addition, the Project Coordinator will play a\nrole in coordinating advocacy efforts within the programme, alongside IDC's\nExecutive Director and key Regional Managers, ensuring that evidence and learning\nfrom the project inform national, regional, and global discussions on migrant\nprotection and safe pathways. The role requires strong programme management,\nMEL, and stakeholder coordination skills, along with excellent relationship\nbuilding and experience in advocacy to effectively bridge implementation and\nstrategic engagement in support of sustainable migration pathways along the\nMediterranean migration routes.\n\n

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)\n\n

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy\n\n

โ—ย ย ย ย ย Ensure that insights from the programme\nimplementation and initiatives inform P2P and IDC's advocacy efforts across\nlevels.\n\n

โ—ย ย ย ย ย Strengthen relationships and engage\nconstructively with relevant government authorities, UN agencies, and civil\nsociety partners when required to strengthen laboration on migrant\nprotection and safe pathways, in close laboration with IDC Executive Director,\nrelevant Regional Managers and personnel and with the Consortium Management\nUnit.\n\n

Qualifications\n\n\n\n

Essential:\n\n

โ—ย ย ย ย ย At\nleast 3 years ofprogramme management\nexperience in multi-country or regional programmes, preferably in the areas of\nmigration, protection, or human rights.\n\n

โ—ย ย ย ย ย Demonstrated\nexperience in designing and implementingmonitoring,\nevaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks, tracking programme impact, and\nproducing evidence-based reports.\n\n
