ย The Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities. Interns must be between 20 and 36 years old and should have less than two years of relevant working experience.ย
ย In general, the Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who:
ย a) have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities; b) are holding a scholarship for internship placements in international organizations and/or for whom internship is required to complete their studies; or c) are sponsored by governmental/non governmental institutions and/or academia to work in specific areas relevant to both IOM and the sponsor. d) are either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelorโs level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months. e) are between 20 and 36 years of age. Learning Objectives
- Assist in providing administrative support to HR unit by photocopying and scanning Human Resources related documents as well as pouching inter-office cargos.
- Assisting the controlling the non-staff related documents including but not limited to necessary hiring documents, certificates and etc.
- Assisting the HR department during and after the trainings and related tasks.
- Assisting the HR department with monitoring of attendance and overtime systems.
- Assisting the HR department during and after the recruitment processes; including but not limited to screening the applications, scheduling the interviews, preparing related documents for recruitment.
- Any other HR related duties that might be assigned. Education
- Either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelorโs level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months. Languages
- Fluency in English and Turkish is required. ย IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
