What we are looking for
NRC is looking for a Grants Manager to join the Afghanistan mission. The role holder will provide grants management support and deliver programmes in line with NRCโs strategy, project cycle management, and operations plan of action. He/sheย will ensure compliance requirements, reporting, proposal development, communication, and identification of funding opportunities.
If you are an influential, interpersonal, and strategic leader, and an effective communicator; who is methodological, organised, and procedure-driven; with a keen eye for detail; and has a track record in building constructive relationships with external parties, then this is the role for you!

What you will do

Donor relations and grants management experience.Humanitarian and development donor exposure.Implementing partners and consortia exposure.Humanitarian donor guidelines and procedures understanding and expertise.Project proposal and report development demonstrated skills.Complex and volatile context exposure.Afghanistan contextย exposure and knowledge, pertaining to displacement and humanitarian needs will be an added advantage.English fluency, both written and verbal.What makes this position attractive?
