About the Role:

As Grant Writer, you will support creation of letters of interest, proposals, reports, and donor engagement materials. You will focus on moving written deliverables for small-to-midsize grants from the concept to completed draft stage. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a social impact organization with an established proof of concept that is moving to scale. This role is remote, and reports to the Manager of Development Operations and Grants.

You Will:

  • Write funding proposals based on approved concept notes, collaborating internally with multiple teams to gather relevant information.
  • Create draft reports, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and timelines.
  • Support donor due diligence processes, curating existing resources and drafting new content where needed.
  • Support content development for quarterly and annual organizational reports in collaboration with the Development Operations and Grants Manager and Development Operations Associate.
  • Ensure draft deliverables are completed at least two weeks before deadlines for review, and implement updates/edits required for approval.
  • Conduct donor research to identify potential new partners.
  • Collaborate with the development team as a whole to advance our teamโ€™s mission and vision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or business development.
  • Experience in grant and report writing or editing.
  • Demonstrated skills at synthesizing and presenting complex information to a range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills (especially French) are a plus.
  • Excel in a collaborative work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
