Financial policies and procedures development
About Amal Organization:
Amal is a non-profit Syrian non-governmental organization established to provide life-saving aid and services to the most vulnerable people, strengthening their resilience, advocating for their basic rights, and also contributing to providing recovery and revitalization programs for societies that war torned.
Amal Organization is a relief and development organization, was established in early 2013 in the northern countryside of the city of Homs on 6/6/2014 and the organization was licensed and registered in Turkey - Gaziantep
In accordance with the policy of developing the procedures pursued by Amal Organization to improve the quality of work according to the current work requirements, Amal Organization wishes to contract with an external company/individual to develop specific financial procedures in its main office in Gaziantep.
Proposed terms of reference:
1- Develop cash management procedures for the safe, petty cash and banks.
2- Developing electronic and paper archiving procedures within the policy in a way that reflects the actual approved method
- Professional cash management policy which includes:
o Cash counting system
o Bank reconciliation system
o Secure petty cash system
- Integrated archiving policy.
- The company/ consultant will be responsible to provide a comprehensive narrative report about the developments made in cooperation with the finance manager of Amal Organization.
Level of effort for this assignment is 7-10 days, this consultancy is therefore scheduled to start early of August 2021.
