Under the general guidance of the Head of the Resources Management Department, the overall technical supervision of the ICT Officer, and in close coordination with relevant units at Headquarters and the Administrative Centre, the Senior ICT Associate will be responsible and accountable for managing ICT functions in IOM Iraq and performing the following duties:

Monitor and act upon monthly risk scans using Rapid7 VM for various system and network components, including application security and immediate intervention in the event of a network intrusion.Implement RSC policies and standards in compliance with NIST guidelines, coordinating with MENA RO and Amman Mission staff.Coordinate with IM staff to track and maintain security certification of all applications used in Iraq, ensuring compliance with Information Security, Risk Management, and NIST standards.Establish, maintain and ensure adherence to ITIL and NIST-based ICT standards, including service management frameworks and processes.Migrate and maintain mission-critical applications and servers from on-premises to Azure cloud-based infrastructure.Collaborate with IM, enterprise architect, information security, cloud services, regional ICT officers, and application teams to create a seamless digital workplace.ย Contribute to the development of cost proposals for ICT services, ย participate in technical evaluations, and monitor service contracts and SLAs.3. Strategic Engagement, Training, and Knowledge Sharing
ย Participate in global ICT working groups and Mission committees to enhance ICT roles and standards across IOM.Conduct training sessions and webinars for ICT and IM teams on newly implemented technologies and procedures.Disseminate advisories and guidelines on ICT best practices to all mission staff to promote knowledge management.Provide global security awareness training and webinars to all users across Iraq, in coordination with the Global Information Security and Risk Management team.Any other tasks that may be assigned. Education University degree preferably in Computer Technology or related field, from an accredited academic institution with 5 years of relevant professional experienceCompleted a High School degree from an accredited academic institution with 7 years of relevant professional experience.Certificate in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4 Foundation certification.ย Experience Professional experience with Internet protocols, and experience in managing Internet Mail gateways.Experience in Network Management (Firewall, switch, Access Point, VoIP).ย Excellent and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, especially Azure AD, Intune and Defender for Cloud.Excellent and hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.Experience in IOM Software, Hardware and License Management.ย Project management skills for efficient roll-out of ICT initiatives.Ability to design, install and configure networks of different topologies.Experience in NIST and cybersecurity risk management framework.Experience and specialized training in Meraki installation, configuration, and maintenance.ย Experience with IOM and other UN Agencies is highly desirable.ย ย Languages Fluency in Arabic, Kurdish, and English is required.ย IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
