Purpose of the expression of interest:

UN-Habitat is launching a call to identify a suitable implementing partner that will support the setup of a municipal solid waste collection and recovery system in the informal settlement of Korogocho in collaboration with Nairobi City County. The call will involve a non-profit organization operating in Kenya, preferably with experience in low informal settlements and in solid waste management. Non-profit organizations (referred below as implementing partner, or IP) are invited to submit proposals that should contribute to the achievement of the following overall project outcome: improve the collection and recycling of municipal solid waste through enhanced stakeholdersโ€™ coordination, capacity building and infrastructure improvements in Nairobi.
