About this position

We are looking for an experienced professional to work on the ITE/IPP Policy and Planning Division as an Enterprise Architect with proficiency in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions for SaaS (Software as a Service), and PaaS (Platform as a Services) environment, and advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Cloud-native solutions.

What you’ll do

You will report to the Enterprise Architecture Team Leader in the Information Technology Policy & Planning Division. Following are the most important activities you will be doing to move forward the IT Project and Portfolio Management program towards its goals:

· Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals

· Setting the context, defining common elements, and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level

· Assisting management and stakeholders in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring that the company uses its IT assets effectively

· Responsible for designing the strategy, architecture, and governance for managing container workloads

· Designing, improving, launching, and communicating the API developer portal of the IADB group (Azure API Management).

· Identify and work on the design of Core reusable APIs

· Collaborate on designing and maintaining technical patterns, formal data structures, data description, data architecture, data mapping, and data flow diagrams in support to integration and interoperability between applications adequate to both source and target solution.

· Work closely with Business, Security, Engineering and Operations teams to drive container adoption

· Conduct POCs (Proofs of Concept) and pilots to demonstrate feasibility of new capabilities and emerging technologies in the container space

· Design IT Solutions that address failure patterns, automate remediation through runbooks, and document application optimization.

· Work with other development teams to assess and define architectures based on the IADB' groups standards, reference architectures, and guidelines.

· Work not only on the core automation development but also on customizations and 3rd party integrations

What you'll need

· Education: master’s degree or equivalent the equivalent combination of education and experience in any of the following fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area.

· Experience: Minimum of five years in the following areas:

· Microsoft Azure (AWS is a plus). Should demonstrate relevant work experience and skills designing and maintaining cloud solutions with IaaS or PaaS. With good understanding on the network, security, and cost implications

· Knowledge architect container-based solutions.

· C# and/or NodeJS programming skills in software design and integration patterns.

· Working experience with cloud-native integration services in Azure such as Service Bus, Event Hub/Grid, Logic Apps, App Services (Web Apps and Functions), API Management Service, SignalR, will be highly valued.

· Solid understanding in building APIs and/or web services (SOA, REST, XML, JSON, OData), including authorization and authentication standards (SAML, OAuth, WebAuth, ADFS) as well as tracing APIs using SoapUI, ReadyAPI or Fiddler as well of SOA and/or microservices architectures Experience of providing and maintaining transformations and APIs for a range variety of scenarios and platforms.

· Working knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid cloud architectures using either Azure or AWS services as well as experience integrating SaaS (Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint Online), PaaS and IaaS environments as part of a centralized framework.

· Familiarity with code versioning and issue tracking tools (Atlassian environment is preferred)

· Familiarity with modern web development concepts/frameworks such as SPA, SPFx, Angular, React, Dojo, etc.

· Strong documentation (writing and diagramming), interpersonal, and communication skills

· Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

· Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience in managing IT-related projects is required.

· Strong teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
