The IEA seeks to recruit an energy analyst with experience in energy modelling and quantitative analysis to work with the team responsible for the Energy Technology Perspectives report to contribute to analysis of regional and sectoral energy technology trends as well as alternative technology choices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in energy modelling and quantitative analysis with a focus on one or multiple sectors (buildings, industry, transport, alternative fuels supply, electricity generation). He/she will contribute to the analysis and drafting of IEA flagship and high-profile thematic publications across the whole range of energy technology topics, including but not limited to Energy Technology Perspectives, country or technology roadmaps and sectoral deep dives.

The selected candidates will be part of a team of enthusiastic professionals, reporting to the head of the Technology Innovation Unit within the Energy Technology Policy Division.
