About this position:
The aim of this consultancy is to provide support to the Energy Division in the preparation, design and approval process of its operations, such as loans, investment grants and Technical Cooperations (TCs). The consultant will also support in conducting research in energy sector topics, and in procuring and supervising studies, gathering and analyzing data, and drafting documents needed to prepare and execute operations.

What you'll need:
Education: Masterยดs degree in economics, renewable energy or related field. Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, chemical engineering, economics, finance, business administration, environmental management or related area. Experience: At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience. Experience within the IDB or other international institutions is desirable. Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
