The Information Management Officer will assist in the thematic implementation of the Education program in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, ensuring that the departmentโs educational and psychosocial support (PSS) activities are impactful and aligned with NRCโs objectives.
Generic Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with Education specific technical responsibility for the quality control and monitoring of project activitiesProviding specific technical support and capacity building towards project staff in implementing and maintaining Education database and related proceduresContribute updated beneficiary figures and achievements to the donor, project/program reports, assessments, monitoring, and strategy documents as required.Ensure that IM systems are up to date with the latest data on indicators, activities, and other programmes and projects data.Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will improve organizational IM processes.Specific Responsibilitiesย
Support and contribute to the development and maintenance of Education data management system, including through design, documentation, implementation and harmonisation of standardizes information flow of Education monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities and reporting.Contribute to the design and rollout of data collection tools, data capture, and means of verification (MoVs).Manage information and data from raw inputs, data cleaning and validation, synthesis, and analysis and contribute to the clear flow of information between NRC teams and departments.Create, manage, and maintain relevant and accurate programme and project databases for project reports, logframes (outcome and output reporting), ITT and GORS, MoVs, and donor deliverables.Create, manage, and maintain live, accurate dashboards for programmatic reporting and project disaggregation for various reports and communications.Support the development of data collection, data entry and reporting methodology and tools, including by introducing digital processes/automation, including KOBO.ย Carry out capacity building and training of programme staff on Education database and NRC Monitoring and Evaluation technical and conceptual areas, as needed.Generic Professional Competencies:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Information Management or Monitoring and Evaluation, or equivalent, preferably in an international NGO.Experience in coding questionnaires on KOBO as well as cleaning and analyzing data using Excel or Power BI.Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.Context/Specific Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
