World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the worldโ€™s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Editorial Production Coordinator

Major Function

The Editorial Production Coordinator supports the Publications and Editorial Production team across multiple functions. The Coordinatorโ€™s primary responsibilities include administrative and production support across two scopes of work: (1) WWFโ€™s flagship publications World Wildlife Magazine, World Wildlife Digest, and the Annual Report; and (2) asset-gathering efforts in the field. This work includes logistical, image, content, and other research; drafting contracts and production documents; coordinating meetings, travel, and itineraries; routing magazine stories; entering and checking edits; supporting multiple editors and producers; general administrative support; and more. As such, attention to detail and the ability to independently progress projects and products is essential.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of production-related tasks in support of WWFโ€™s publications and asset-gathering efforts, including assembling resources, scheduling, managing assigned steps within the story-routing process, reviewing edits, tracking photo credits, and more. Researches and prepares materials for editors, country office partners, consultants, designers, and more. Monitors status of many print and asset-gathering tasks and ensures related internal tracking systems are up to date. Assists with intake of asset gathering trip deliverables, including initial review of incoming assets (like photos, videos, etc.) to make sure they follow internal guidelines, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and tracking progress of contracted deliverables. Performs administrative duties including file management of printed materials, responding to queries related to publications content, fielding requests for electronic or print copies of team materials, addressing rights management queries and research, and other tasks as assigned. Drafts promotional, email, and other internal content as directed by the Managing Editor and team members. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree or a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience equivalent is required.
