Job Purpose

To oversee program development, seek grants and proposals, manage projects and oversee budgets. In general ensure that an organizationโ€™s activities and programs align with the goals and mission statements of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manages all aspects of grant programs including grant program oversight and administration, grant application/proposal review and processing, coordination of grant review committee, funders and partners, oversee grant program evaluation and benchmarking, prepare reports and other duties as needed;
  2. Assist in the preparation of proposals, budgets, and funding applications to secure resources for program implementation;
  3. Work closely with partner organizations, community members, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth program execution;
  4. Provide guidance and support to project staff, volunteers, and partners to enhance their understanding of program goals and methodologies;
  5. Represent the NGO at meetings, workshops, and conferences related to program areas.
  6. Identify opportunities for new programs development and work expansion;
  7. Assist with the development of strategic partnerships and search for new funders;
  8. Other duties as assigned by the DPU manager;

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)

Essential:

  • Institute or university degree in business administration, engineering, or any other related field;
  • Five years experiences in a related field;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate various responsibilities and prioritize conflicting demands and deadlines experiences at least one year;
  • English language (Upper intermediate level);
  • Arabic language (Advanced level).

Desirable:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in business administration, engineering, or any other related field;
  • Seven years experiences in a related field;
  • English language (Advanced level);
  • Turkish language is an advance.
