Project Context and Scope:ย
In 2022, IOM conducted an external evaluation on the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment. A series of recommendations were identified.
Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing:ย Office of Ethics andย Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (OEP), Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) Unit.
Category A Consultants: Tasks to be performed under this contractย
Support the Head of the PSEAH Unit on day-to-day task management and workflow, including tracking and following up on requests from other units, offices and departments ensuring adherence to deadlines and coordination within the PSEAH Unit and with OEP staff; prepare communications products and presentations as needed.Support the development of the PSEAH Unitโs 2026 workplan, including review of existing commitments, prioritization, budget preparation and justification, and monitoring framework.ย Review and update the PSEAH Unitโs fundraising strategy; draft concept notes, project proposals and submissions to donors to support the PSEAH Unit raise funding in line with stated priorities; ensure coordination of inputs within the PSEAH Unit at HQ and amongst other relevant decentralized PSEAH Unit staff positions at regional level.ย Report on PSEAH activities and achievements in 2025, including preparing PSEAH inputs to the annual OEP report and end of year management letter.ย Provide technical input to guidelines, capacity building materials, protocols and standard operating procedures, as needed,ย including support for training roll-out and compliance monitoring.ย Support knowledge management efforts, including organizing key resources, lessons learned and good practices for internal and external use.Support coordination with other units, offices and departments, including reviewing progress against IOMโs commitment to external assessment recommendations and updating of IOMโs PSEAH Strategy.ย Fulfil any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.ยPerformance indicators for the evaluation of results

Experience
Proven experience in project development and reporting, strategy development and/or other communication-related products and materials; and,Experience in humanitarian action, recovery and transition and/or development programming.Skills
Excellent and proven knowledge of gender equality/GBV and/or PSEA programming with advanced knowledge and skills in coordination, capacity development, child protection/GBV/SEA risk mitigation; and,Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.LanguagesIOMโs official languages are English, French, and Spanish. All staff members are required to be fluent in one of the three languages.
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process,
which may include written and/or oral assessments.ย
