The UNICEF Talent Development section of the Division of Human Resources supports individuals, teams, and offices to deliver results by providing learning expertise that enhances the delivery of results for children. A central component of the success of each individual is the availability of suitable learning content, and openness to embrace new content, ideas, innovations, and growth.ย  The Talent Development team is hiring a remote consultant to support the delivery of, promotion of, and reporting of our learning programmes.

Scope of Work

Support for delivery of core and management learning programmes including promotion of a global learning events, programme design support, and support for regular learning reporting. Additionally, the consultant will be asked to use their experience to recommend additional learning engagement interventions.

Duration: 7.5 monthsย  (guiding contractual dates and delivery expectations 14 October 2024 - 31 May 2025)

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will haveโ€ฆย 

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

Education:ย Advanced University degree in social sciences, such as communication, education, or instructional design.

Experience:

At least 2 yearsโ€™ prior work experience in internal communications, learning engagement, marketing of learning events, and instructional design including work samples to demonstrate the experience.ย Additional 2 years of experience is preferred. Prior experience in mentorship or peer-to-peer learning design, preferably with the UN. Demonstration of excellent skills in project management, learning programme management and excellent English written communication. Developing country experience is an asset.

Language Requirements:ย Fluency in English is required.ย
