THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE (EXD)
The Executive Directorate (EXD) is the steward of OECD resources, on behalf of the Secretary-General. Our focus is on people and their wellbeing; the effective and efficient management of the budget; the safety and security of staff, Delegations, visitors, and of the OECDโs data; maintaining and sustaining physical and digital infrastructure; and enabling the convening power of the OECD through conferences, meetings and events, whether virtual, physical or hybrid. As well as providing corporate services, functions and management support to our staff and Members, we provide integrated, strategic and expert advice on corporate policies and management issues to the Secretary-General, to Council and to Standing Committees, to which we regularly report on corporate matters. We also provide risk management functions (for management areas under our purview). Ours is a fast-paced environment focused on delivering management excellence across all of our functions.
THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SERVICE (EXD/HRM)
Within the OECDโs Executive Directorate (EXD), the Human Resource Management Service (HRM) is responsible for providing stewardship of the Organisationโs human capital on behalf of the Secretary-General. Overseeing three divisions (HR Operations, the Client Services Group and the Talent Management and Analytics Group), EXD/HRMโs Head Office provides strategic HR direction, leadership in corporate and legal matters and oversight and coordination for the Organisation at large. The HR Operations Group, one of EXD/HRMโs three business units, provides centralized operational services, including the HR Operational Excellence team.
The HR Online Centre, within the HR Operational Excellence team, provides Communication, Information and Documentation management for EXD/HRM, including management of HR staff files database, internal HR communications, Intranet and Internet web content management, and digital project management.
THE POSITION
EXD/HRMโs HR Operations Division is looking for a Communications Coordinator who will report to the HR Online Centre Manager. The selected candidate will work closely and collaboratively across the different teams of the Service to support and develop the Human Resources Managementโs communication initiatives and strategy.

Main Responsibilities
Coordination and liaison
Collaborate with relevant interlocutors in EXD/HRM to develop the corporate HR communication plan.Assist the HR Online Centre Manager in coordinating impactful communications for HR resources, guidelines, campaigns, events and other key moments via the EXD corporate communication channels.Update and maintain the EXD/HRM communication calendar and brief colleagues accordingly.Liaise with EXD counterparts as needed, to ensure HR communications and outputs comply with EXD standards and featured on corporate channels.Act as the point of contact for EXD/HRM communications, advise and provide assistance to relevant interlocutors in EXD/HRM with regards to all HR communications aspects (timeline, templates, content, etc.).Message development and online content creation
Increase the visibility and understanding of the EXD/HRM Serviceโs work by creating clear messages and visual content through corporate communication channels.In coordination with the HR Online Centre Manager and with all HR team leads, support the preparation, review and publication of a variety of written content to support communications and outreach efforts, including website content, newsletters and any other communication support, ensuring quality and timely delivery.In collaboration with HR team leads, ensure that EXD/HRMโs web pages are regularly updated and that web content meets quality standards. Follow best practices for site structure, content and web writing, in line with the quality standards and corporate guidelines developed by the Communications Directorate of the OECD.Reporting, analysis and optimisation
Other tasks
Contribute to the preparation and communication of staff files as needed.Understand the full scope of HR online center teamโs core activities to ensure continuity during the absence of other team members.Participate as required in other tasks of the Centre.Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
University degree in the field of communications, information management, web content, or related field.Professional Background
A minimum of 3 years experience in a communications role with similar responsibilities, preferably in an international environment.Excellent editorial skills and experience writing messages for different audiences and presenting information in a clear, concise, accessible and compelling way.Commitment to achieve results in a timely way and to high standards.Capacity and willingness to learn and share knowledge and assume additional work assignments.Experience in an International Organisation and familiarity with the rules, regulations and administrative procedures would be an advantage.Tools
Proven experience in working with the Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite and other web-based graphic design tools.Experience creating and maintaining web content.Excellent IT skills, interest in, and ability to adapt to, new technologies.A practical understanding of Microsoft Sharepoint, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and similar tools would be an advantage.Languages
Knowledge of the two OECD official languages (English and French).Core Competencies
