ย <Anchored in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and committed to universality, equality, and leaving no one behind, the global UNDP vision through the Strategic Plan 2022-2025 is to continue its commitment to eradicating poverty, accompanying countries on their pathways towards the SDGs, accelerating structural transformations for sustainable development, and building resilience to crises and shocks. It envisions bold goals, aiming to make a difference in millions of lives through initiatives tackling multidimensional poverty, promoting energy access, ensuring election participation, and boosting development financing.

The UNDP Cameroon Country Office is engaging in the key priorities of the National Development Strategy 2020-2030 and the SDGs through its three programme priority areas: transformative, inclusive, and sustainable growth; inclusive governance and peacebuilding; and environmental sustainability, climate risk, and disaster management. Among key projects under the Officeโs Transformative, Inclusive, and Sustainable Growth programme priority, is the Youth and Women Empowerment and Engagement Project (YWEEP), which focuses on strengthening the leadership and socio-economic empowerment of youth and women and the promotion of innovation technology.
