Background
The Communication Coordinator will provide direct support to the NRC Ukraine Country Office in the implementation of NRCโs internal and external communication initiatives. In particular, he/she will be responsible for collecting, drafting, and editing communication materials in collaboration with other functions of the Country Office and NRCโs area offices.

Visit NRC field sites to collect communications materials for internal and external use and support NRCโs programs and partners in content gathering and other communications activities.Collect and upload quality photos, video, social media content and other materials for use in traditional and social media.Respond to inquiries from national and international journalists and help facilitate interviews.Provide training and on-the-job support to colleagues in field sites and local partners to develop their skills in communications, including taking quality photos and developing case studies, spokespersonโs trainings, donor visibility and other.Work efficiently with programs teams and partners to develop visibility materials and other communications products that comply with NRC and donor guidelines.Draft and develop recurrent media and communications products, develop infographics or other visual materials as required.Engage actively with NRC global communications teams to generate ideas, polish materials and ensure NRC Ukraineโs communications are qualitative, creative, property targeted and support the implementation of the Advocacy Strategy.Technical oversight of the NRC Ukraine media and comms team, across Country and Area offices, to ensure the coherence of NRCโs activities and products.Other tasks as requested by the line manager.2.
