Formal Education Network for Private Schools (FENPS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant to conduct training sessions for 52 School Clubs members. The objective of this assignment is to enhance co-curricular activities and improve attendance among children in 26 schools located in Deynile and Kahda districts of Banadir region.

Scope of Work:

The Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering training sessions aimed at equipping School Clubs members with the necessary skills and strategies to organize engaging co-curricular activities. The training will focus on promoting active participation, fostering a sense of belonging, and ultimately increasing attendance rates within the schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive training curriculum tailored to the needs of School Clubs members
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions covering topics such as event planning, leadership skills, and student engagement techniques
  • Provide guidance and support to empower School Clubs members in implementing effective co-curricular activities
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the training on attendance rates and student participation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in education, social sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in education management, youth development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering training programs for youth or community groups
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of the education system and community dynamics in Somalia is an asset
