Introduction
The Engineering Department (EN) pushes back the limits of technology so that physicists can carry out their research. Within the Electrical Engineering (EL) group of the EN department, you will join the Controls and Business Support section (CBS), which is responsible for the development and maintenance of informatic systems tightly tailored to the Groupsโ core business functions, procedures and rules, covering all aspects of electrical installation works, material and contract management.

Functions
Analyse the business processes, business management procedures and informatic system and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Research and review up-to-date business processes and ERP systems of equivalent business domain and determine potential outcomes through current applications and new solutions.In collaboration with a cross functional team of business experts, computing engineers and main stakeholders, develop strategies for streamlining the processes and increasing efficiency.Identify risks and opportunities associated with proposed solutions and make recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Facilitate workshops, focus groups and other meetings to elicit feedback around proposed solutions.Oversee the implementation of the identified changes.Identify and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the identified changes and recommend further improvements.Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in conducting business process analysis.Proven experience in evaluation of organizationsโ workflows and process improvements implementation.Good understanding of Business Analysis methodologies.Proven experience in generating process documentation and business process modelling.Experience in designing business systems and testing software tools.
Technical competencies:
Process analysis, definition and improvement.Analysis design and documentation of workflows and business processes.Metrics and analytics.Expert usage of ERP systems and business management software.Understanding of programming languages such as Java, software development methods, relational databases and SQL would be an asset.
Behavioural competencies:
Language skills:
Spoken and written English or French: ability to understand and speak the other language in professional contexts. Ability to draw-up technical specifications and/or scientific reports and to make oral presentations in at least one of the two languages.
